Who says healthy food has to be boring and tasteless? The best way to kick junk food to the curb and stay on your path is to find healthy and clean foods that are flavorful, satisfying, and make you feel good. Check out some of my favorite foods and recipes including my own!

Nubia's Fruit and Toasted Walnut Salad with Orange Honey Vinaigrette 

For the salad: 

3 to 4 cups of salad greens 
1 apple 
4 large strawberries 
1/2 cup of walnuts 

Orange Honey Vinaigrette: 

1/2 cup of orange juice
2 Tbs of honey
1 1/2 Tbs of balsamic vinegar
1 Tsp of fresh ground pepper 
2 Tbs of grapeseed oil 

Steps: 
Combine oil, pepper, orange juice and vinegar into a bowl.  
Toast walnuts in a non-greased heated skillet for 5 minutes. 
Chop apples and strawberries into medium-small pieces. 
Toss the fruit and walnuts with the salad greens. 
Add the vinaigrette last, mix with the salad and serve!
